Reporting unnecessary zeroes
Both the ECB and the EBA emphasize again to avoid unnecessary zeroes (for all XBRL reports ending with * _ind / * _con). We therefore ask you to delete all zeroes in the reports, except for the zeroes that are absolutely necessary in the context of the ECB’s quality checks.
From now on, a blocking error message is generated in OneGate as soon as a report contains 20% unnecessary zeroes. Specifically: A report with 10.000 figures is blocked if it contains 2.000 or more zeroes. Reports with percentage zeroes between 10% and 20% of the reported figures receive a Warning status in OneGate.
