EBA updates revised list of ITS Validation Rules (10/03/2025)
The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published an updated list of validation rules (10/03/2025) within its Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on supervisory reporting. This revision identifies rules that have been deactivated due to inaccuracies or technical issues. EU competent authorities are advised that data submitted in line with these ITS should not be formally validated against the deactivated rules.
With the introduction of DPM 2.0 and the Architecture 2.0 taxonomy, updates have been made not only to the validation rule Excel files but also to the DPMs and the taxonomy package.
